After 25 years in practice, I felt that I was losing my connection with my patients and clients.

My days were so full that I seemed to no longer have the time to assess my patients in all aspects of their health. From puppy development, to nutrition, to behavior, to pain assessment, to preventative care, to reviewing their diseases and medications, there was a lot to discuss that could not fit into the appointment. The time available in the clinic for each patient was limited and best prioritized for hands on diagnostics, treatments, and procedures. I often needed additional time to achieve the high standard of care my patients deserved and it usually did not necessitate another trip into the clinic. I wanted to help people become more involved in managing their pet’s health by offering professional advice and care management on top of their in-person pet visits. I hope that by offering this Telehealth Care Management service I will become a trusted partner in your pet’s health and happiness. And perhaps, when your pet’s well-being improves, so will yours. As I go on this journey I welcome ideas and feedback on how I can better serve you and your pet.
